Our Mission

 

 

The purpose of the Outdoor Adventures Club as stated in the club constitution is:

 

...to foster an appreciation and enjoyment of the outdoors through organized activities with like-minded individuals, to develop networks of friendships and associations with other outdoor enthusiasts, and to teach and develop proper outdoor and camping etiquette and skills.

 

In other words, in addition to planning and executing excursions as a club, we will do our best to spread a love of the outdoors as well as teach the necessary knowledge and skills needed to have an enjoyable and successful experience in nature. This club is for those with years of experience as well as those with very little or no experience. All are welcome and anyone can contribute to the positive atmosphere we promote as well as the mission of our club.

 

This club was founded by individuals who enjoy their time in nature, so much so that they felt the need to share that experience with others. It is our hope that all members feel comfortable being a part of the Outdoor Adventures Club and that all members, both new and old, have a chance to develop their outdoorsmanship and share memorable experiences in the outdoors.
